Job Purpose

The sales team is responsible for growing revenue and profit on all product and services. This role is solely working with channel partners, so no cold calling at all.

Due to recent expansion within the current Channel team, there is a requirement for a desk-based Channel Account Executive. This role will be responsible for the overall development of relationships between channel partners. You will be expected to establish and build long term relationships with existing and new channel partners to increase revenue.

Principal Responsibilities/Duties

  • Identify revenue & margin opportunity within an existing base of established customers.
  • Cross sell and upsell products and services to that base.
  • Liaise internally with departments within the group to ensure that the service provided is of the highest standard.
  • Proactively manage and report progress of key sales opportunities through the CRM system.
  • Negotiate commitment & growth deals.
  • Provide telephone-based sales support to Channel Partners and external Channel BDMs.
  • Provide ongoing sales and technical training to these partners.
  • Build account development plans for key partners.

Essential Skills

  • Numerate and literate to a very high standard.
  • PC Skills to intermediate level - especially Excel and Power Point.
  • Highly articulate and presentable.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Motivated self-starter.

Desired Skills

  • Previous sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A good commercial acumen.
