The Opportunity:

We are excited to partner with a fast-tracked, award-winning telecommunications firm in South Wales. While our client has a decade of technical prestige, they are currently in a high-growth startup phase, expanding their reach across the UK.

With the ISDN digital line switch-off making phone system upgrades mandatory for UK businesses, our client needs a hungry, proactive Business Development Executive to identify opportunities and open doors. This role is focused on the critical "front-end" of the sales process generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting the stage for technical consultations.

 

The Role: Identifying & Creating Opportunity

In this role, you aren't bogged down by post-installation admin or technical project management. Your mission is clear: find, engage, and qualify. You will be the first point of contact for local businesses, sparking interest in future-proof IP solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to new B2B prospects through targeted outbound activities.

  • Prospect Qualification: Consult with business owners to identify pain points and qualify them for a full system audit.

  • Appointment Setting: Successfully book high-quality consultations for the senior specialist team.

  • Market Penetration: Act as the "tip of the spear" for our client’s brand in Cardiff, creating a robust pipeline of new business.
