The Opportunity

An award-winning, privately-owned IT & Telecoms Managed Service Provider and systems integrator is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in CCaaS (Contact Centre as a Service) sales.

Based in Guildford, this is a new business-focused role where you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and selling a range of cutting-edge contact centre solutions and unified communications technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Proactively hunt and secure new clients, driving new revenue streams and achieving sales targets.

  • Account Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with the accounts you win, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities.

  • Technical Sales: Lead technical workshop meetings and collaborate with internal teams to scope and deliver significant projects.

  • Strategic Growth: Identify and execute sustainable growth strategies for your client portfolio.

  • Problem-Solving: Act as a trusted advisor, proactively addressing client issues and escalating when necessary to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Essential: Previous experience in the IT or Telecom Managed Service Provider industry, with specific expertise in selling contact centre solutions.

  • A strong hunter mentality with a passion for winning new business.

  • Exceptional decision-making, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • A customer-centric, results-driven, and confident professional.
