Perm Salary - £24k - £28k

We are working with a workshop in South Wales who are looking for a time-served CNC Machinist. Programming experience is essential as they complete a lot of bespoke one off work. As this is for a permanent position we are looking for local candidates not travelling contractors.
Typical duties would include:
● CNC Milling
● CNC Turning
● Hands on programming
● General housekeeping
● Checking that work meets quality and technical standards
● Routine maintenance.
You would work mainly with metals but you could also deal with composite materials and plastics. Most of the parts you make would be for use on internal manufacturing and assembly.
Successful candidates must also have experience of manual machining practices and aspects of production workshop engineering component manufacture. Work comprises mainly of CNC milling but also some CNC lathe turning.
