The Role The Enterprise Network delivers complex and bespoke technical solutions for the companies large customers and is a major part of the customer revenue stream The Account Director will be responsible for creating strategic, innovative business opportunities, not only helping to drive sales by promoting our products and services; but having significant holistic involvement with the senior leadership team to help develop and grow the business. The clients of this company typically come from retail, manufacturing, finance, technology and the professional service industries. Main Responsibilities * Working closely with the management team to review the best procedures and practice. * Identify strategic business opportunities with senior level key IT and business executives * Have in-depth knowledge of the marketplace you are working in and the key industry and financial factors affecting the customer * Help qualify projects by attending chair and external meetings with clients * Maximise the business you part-take in and effectively manage vendor relationships * Build a good relationship with key figures within the Cisco team * Adhere to the company business plan by working closely with the technical director and marketing director * Ensure that you push other team members in order to develop them to the best of their abilities. Essential Skills * A proven track record in sales and negotiation * Excellent presentation, leadership and management skills * Ability to produce high quality written document * Be able to offer innovative and insightful ideas to help maximise business and profits * To be a problem solver * To be inspiring not only to customers but to colleagues * To be able to use market research and statistics to help with the development of the business Desired Skills * Knowledge of Cisco products
