Business Development Manager - Telecoms
Salary: £30-40,000 Basic
Commission: £2,500 monthly uncapped
Extras: Car Allowance, International Travel
Location: 1 day a week in the office, Chepstow/Bristol
Do you have experience of telecoms infrastructure, 5G, Fibre, Optical Networks?
If so, this could be a perfect next step for you in your career. We're currently looking for someone with experience selling telecommunication equipment & or knowledge of the telecoms market. Proven ability selling overseas will also be massively advantageous. You will be selling into Alt Nets a lot and so experience of this will be beneficial.
Main responsibilities as a BDM:
New Logo Aquisition - This element will involve utilising existing connections or starting new relationships with companies. Cold calling/Emailing/Social selling, in order to add value to their prospects.
Dormant Accounts - Bringing old accounts back to life, via building a strong relationship for the future. Reminding them of all the products/services that you can provide.
Exisiting Accounts - This will involve forming relationships with current customers. Ensuring you build upon the existing relationship. Cross selling and upselling in order to maximise growth in accounts.
Please Note - For the first 6 months there is no target. We will steadily get you to the point whereby after 6 months you will be bringing in £25-30K per month.
The successful candidate will:
- Be successful and demonstrate experience of identifying, opening and growing new accounts
- Be a proven accomplished sales professional with experience in the telecom/IT sector
- Be commercially astute and able to quickly identify client challenges and possible solutions
- Have business to business sales experience, B2B
- Need proof of over-achievement of set targets within a Business Development environment
- Have the ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Have additional language skills (highly desirable, but not essential)
