The Opportunity

I am currently partnering with one of the Netherlands’ most ambitious Telecoms Providers to find a high-impact Presales Consultant. Based out of Rotterdam but operating with a remote first mindset, my client is aggressively expanding their footprint in the Dutch UCaaS and CCaaS space.

In this role, you aren’t just a support function for sales; you are the Technical Architect and the commercial face of the deal. You will own the conversation for clients in the 200–500+ seat range, turning complex technical requirements into solutions that CEOs and IT Directors actually want to buy.

This is a high-visibility leadership role designed for a professional who has outgrown the traditional technical support silo. Key Accountabilities

  • The Technical Lead: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for high-value prospects, bridging the gap between engineering and the boardroom.

  • Solution Design: Deep-dive into Microsoft Teams Phone, Zoom, and Cisco ecosystems to architect solutions that resolve specific customer pain points.

  • Demo Mastery: deliver high-stakes Proofs of Concept (PoC). Your goal is to show, not just tell, how the technology drives business value.

  • Strategic Partnership: Use a consultative approach to identify the why behind a client’s needs, mapping technical features to tangible commercial outcomes.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Account Management team to navigate long sales cycles and secure technical "wins."

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Telephony Pedigree: Strong technical grounding in UCaaS/CCaaS, specifically with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Cisco stacks.

  • Commercial Edge: You understand the Commercial Win. You can talk bits and bytes with an engineer and ROI with a CFO.

  • Market Experience: Previous experience operating within the Dutch Mid-Market/Enterprise segment.

  • Language: Professional fluency in Dutch and English is mandatory.

  • Residency: You must be based in the Netherlands (full flexibility on home-working location).
