We are recruiting for a high-growth IT MSP company seeking a target-driven and proactive Account Manager to join our successful team. This is a crucial role focused on increasing revenue by up selling and cross-selling into a strong existing client base. You will be the trusted Technology Advisor responsible for nurturing long-term strategic relationships and driving account growth.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

We need a motivated professional to drive revenue growth and client retention by:

  • Account Development: Identifying and developing new business opportunities and leads from a robust existing portfolio of corporate clients.

  • Solution Selling: Presenting powerful and persuasive value propositions for a full range of Unified Communications products, including Telephony, M365, Cyber Security, and IT Managed Services.

  • Relationship Management (CRM): Building, maintaining, and developing relationships with decision makers and senior management through a mix of face-to-face and telephone engagement.

  • Sales & Forecasting: Effectively managing the sales cycle, conducting contract negotiations, closing deals, and providing accurate sales forecasts to the management team.

  • KPI Achievement: Meeting agreed-upon activity-based KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and contributing to the overall business revenue targets.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this high-earning Account Manager role, you must possess:

  • Industry Experience: Proven sales experience within the IT managed Service or Telecoms industry.

  • Product Knowledge: Experience selling technology solutions such as professional services, Microsoft 365 (M365), Cyber Security, and VoIP/Telephony products.

  • Sales Track Record: A demonstrable proven track record of growing existing clients, up selling, and cross-selling to corporate B2B clients.

  • Communication: Exceptional rapport-building skills, consultative sales ability, and experience presenting to business owners.

  • Personal Drive: Highly self-motivated, target-driven, ethical, and possesses excellent business acumen.

  • Logistics: A valid Driving Licence for client travel within the Cheshire and surrounding regions.
