Job Title: IT Account Manager
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Role)
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + Car Allowance + OTE to £70,000
Contract type: Permanent
We are working with an IT MSP who are looking to add to their Account Management Team, due to continued growth through both organic and acquisition there is a great opportunity for experienced IT Account Managers to hit the ground running.

What You'll Do.
- Work within the large existing client database to cross sell and upsell the diverse portfolio of IT solutions & services
- Effectively generate and manage personal sales pipeline
- Provide accurate and timely management information, activity reports and forecasts
- Gather requirements from prospective and current accounts, working with Technical Specialists to produce a solution that meets the customer's requirements
- Develop long-term working relationships/partnerships with prospective, new and key customer accounts.
- Work in partnership with our marketing team to generate effective sales campaigns
- Arrange and attending customers meetings across the UK regularly
- Respond to/prepare proposals- ensure that documentation (bids/tenders/proposals) are completed to the highest standard and meet deadlines,
- Manage contract negotiations and renewals
- Deliver presentations both face to face and virtually
- Working to sales targets and KPI's
- Promote and sell technical solutions to customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Carry out activities that enable sales specialist status for company Vendor Partnerships- e.g., certifications
- To act as a mentor to other team members
Requirements
Essential
- Experience working in Solution Sales role
- Strong account development (B2B) and commercial awareness skills
- Demonstrable experience of developing accounts and building/maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders (internal and external)
- Proven achievement of developing existing accounts and working to KPIs
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and channels
- Excellent communication skills, professional in approach (presentation, verbal and written)
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building skills; confident building and managing effective relationships with stakeholders (e.g. prospective/current Customers, Vendors)
- Strong negotiation, influencing skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong time management skills, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- IT literate-CRM systems/other internal IT systems including MS Package, social media platforms
- Passion for sales and customer service, with a determination to succeed
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- IT Industry knowledge- awareness of trends, products and services
- Experience of working to targets of £1Million plus and average order values of £100K+
