Business Development Manager / Account Manager

Salary - £30,000/£45,000 Basic

Commission - £60,000/£80,000+ Uncapped

Remote - Hybrid working model, fully home based at present

Position - Both Account Management & Business Development opportunities available

This is an exciting time to join one of the leader IT/Telecom resellers in the UK. Due to continue growth and expansion, they're actively looking for both Account Managers and Business Development Managers (Sales Specialists).

You will need to have experience selling a range of IT Solutions and products, focused on solution selling & a good understanding Microsoft Azure will definitely help your case. Likewise, if you are familiar with rival products to Azure, this will also be beneficial.

Job Responsibilities as an IT Sales professional:

It would be ideal for the role, if you have an understanding or knowledge on some of the products below.

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Azure Virtual Desktops
  • Microsoft 365 Solutions
  • Sharepoint
  • Teams
  • InTune

In addition to this, we will need to see the following:

  • A proven track record in identifying and winning new business
  • A desire to take a consultative approach to sales, caring about the customers needs and ensuring you finds a solution that works best for them
  • A track record of upselling / cross selling to exisiting accounts.

When you apply, we will likely ask if you'd rather go down the business development or account management route, both are available as options to the right candidate.

Key Activities as Sales Specialist or Account Manager:

  • Use your knowledge to achieve your sales targets and associated KPI's as a minimum expectation.
  • To proactively communicate with new and existing customers in regards to their current service, new products and how you could improve their service going forward.
  • Proactively engage and manage the customer base with a focus on really helping their business to thrive.
  • If an Account manager - Selling to existing accounts, building the relationship for years to come, being the number one customer champion to ensure the customer is happy.
  • If a Sales Specialist - Selling to new customers, social selling/cold calling and using whatever method necessary to successfully bring new logos on board. Ensuring the customer is happy with the service and that we are adding real value to their business.
