Job Title: Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Reports To: Head of Service Delivery

Location: Hybrid / Reigate

Overview of Role

The role of the Project Manager is to plan and manage customer projects according to set deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources (internal and sub-contractors). With a drive to ensure ownership of every project from the point of sale through to invoice.

The Project Manager will be expected to manage multiple projects concurrently to successful conclusion by managing the scope, budget, timescales and quality. The Project Manager is responsible for project design, planning, execution, quality, financial control, management of risks, issues, change and communication.

The Project Manager will develop strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders to ensure and influence their projects to a successful conclusion.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Define project scope, project products and deliverables
  • Designing project and communication plans for solution delivery
  • Co-ordination of internal and external resource
  • Raising Purchase Orders and ordering materials to be sent to customers
  • Liaising with service teams on provisioning orders
  • Continued updates on progress of project to customers
  • Identify and manage key stakeholder relationships representing our clients values and standards
  • Configuration of Hosted orders as required
  • Adding all aspects of the project billing to the corporate CRM
  • Identify, record and monitor any Project risks.
  • Conduct Project Meetings; both internal and external
  • Manage the Project budget; escalating and obtaining authorisation for any work required outside of the budget.
  • Update and maintain customer records on the CRM ensuring details and pricing are 100% correct
  • Update and maintain job and project tasks on the CRM
  • Coach, mentor and cross train project team members as required
  • Provide advice and assistance with pre-sales as required

You'll have the following Qualifications and Experience

  • Prince 2 Practitioner or equivalent level recognised project management qualification.
  • of 3 years project management experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry or other technology industry where you can demonstrate a track record of delivering technology projects.
  • Proficient using the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.).
  • Experience using Project Management tools such as Trello, Asana, Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Projects

Preferred Skills and Experience

Understanding and direct experience of delivery the following technologies:

  • SIP trunking
  • Hosted telephony deployments
  • PBX (up to Enterprise) deployments
  • UC Deployments
  • Number porting (including large number migrations)
  • WAN / SDWAN deployments
  • FTTC / FTTP / Ethernet rollout
  • LAN/WLAN deployments
  • Dealing with diverse customers ranging from SMB up to corporate organisations.
  • Experience working on technology projects within the Healthcare and Public sector.
