Our client are in search of a Technical Solutions Engineer with a keen focus on project management to join their team. This role emphasizes investigating and diagnosing issues with customer VoIP, SIP, Microsoft Direct Routing and Data services, with a particular emphasis on managing projects for customer solutions from inception to successful delivery. The ideal candidate will excel at both technical problem-solving and project coordination, all while delivering exceptional customer service. This role would be well-suited to a candidate who has experience working successfully on a Service Desk and is looking to elevate & diversify their skillset and experience
- Lead projects for customer solutions, overseeing all phases from initiation to completion and providing comprehensive aftercare support.
- Investigate and diagnose issues with customer VoIP, SIP, and Data services, including SBC configuration, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and ensure seamless implementation.
- Conduct meetings with key stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate project status, and address technical concerns.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Creating documentation on technical processes and support to help guide the business and Technical Support Engineers.
- On-Call Rota with the opportunity to earn additional income for every week completed (usually around 1 in 6)
- Proven experience managing projects for business VoIP and Data services, including SIP/Hosted SIP.
- Professional networking or technical certification, such as CCNA, Network+, or similar, demonstrating a solid understanding of networking principles.
- Desired but not mandatory: Microsoft Certifications such as MS-700, MS-721 (Microsoft Voice Expert)
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and be able to progress projects without micro-management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Minimum of 2 years' Service Desk or equivalent experience
- Full UK Drivers Licence
